Vive Posture Corrector Review

Are you one of the many people who suffer from seemingly unending neck and lower back pain? The cause is likely due to poor posture. Maintaining good pose reduces the stress that your body exerts on your back muscles. However, you may often find yourself slouching especially while working on a desk. Extended periods in such a position may lead to pain, hunching, and other posture-related problems.

To avoid or correct posture problems, you should invest in a quality pose brace. Having a posture corrector on will make you, conscious of your standing or sitting position at all times. Over time, your body will adjust accordingly and retain a good pose even without the help of the hunchback corrector. Many different types of posture braces are available on the market – but below is one that I have tried and tested.

The Vive Posture Corrector First Impressions

At a glance, the Vive Posture Corrector features a figure-8 design (or infinity depending on what your mind registers first). The straps are thin over the shoulders and under the armpits with one that goes at the center of the back to separate the shoulder blades. Despite being thin, the straps come with extra padding for added comfort. In my case, I found the additional material made the product a little bulkier than I would have liked.

Nevertheless, I later began appreciating the extra comfort that accompanied the bulkiness. It should take a while before any discomfort sets in thanks to the additional padding. The adjustment straps work together with a D-ring. This feature will let you adjust the position of the brace to the desired size, but will require an extra set of hands.

Also, the fasteners that hold the brace in place are highly adhesive. This feature ensures you get a secure hold that does will not loosen for any reason. Furthermore, the fasteners also make sure that the brace does not roll or slip out of place.

Comfortable and Breathable

After having the Vive Posture Corrector on for slightly over 40 minutes, I was impressed by its heat-dissipation capabilities. Besides the comfortable padding, the brace was breathable, which I believe should come in handy when it is warm outside. Wearing braces that help you maintain a good pose in the summer is usually difficult, but the Vive Posture Corrector is poised to work well even in such conditions.

Durability

The manufacturer of the Vive Posture Corrector claims a lifespan of between several months – years with the product. Looking at it, I believe it should last for a long time as long as you take good care of it. Subjecting it to abuse is directly proportional to durability.

Pros

  • High adjustability
  • Comfortable
  • Affordable

Cons

  • Lack of out-of-the-box instructions
